This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the organization and operations of local Edison illuminating companies. Included are letters pertaining to the expansion of the Mount Carmel central station and the construction of a new South Side station in Chicago. Other documents concern Edison's and Arthur E. Kennelly's attendance at the annual convention of the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies in Minneapolis.
