This folder contains correspondence about the technical and commercial development of the phonograph. Included are letters regarding Edison's lawsuit against Ezra T. Gilliland and John C. Tomlinson and correspondence about the public auction of nickel-in-the-slot phonograph cabinets. A few letters pertaining to more than one phonograph company are also filed in this folder.
