These documents are from envelope 28. Included are six patent assignments executed between 1882 and 1891. Also included is a list of foreign and domestic patents prepared in 1920 by Delos Holden, chief counsel of the Legal Department of Thomas A. Edison, Inc. The label on the envelope contains the following notation: "Patents Foreign & Domestic List of old patents destroyed on instructions of Mr. Thomas A. Edison. Feb. 10. 1920.
