This letterbook covers the period June-July 1897. Most of the correspondence is by Walter S. Mallory, vice-president of the company. The letters relate mainly to personnel matters, equipment, and supplies. Some of the letters deal with work done for the New Jersey Zinc Co. The spine is stamped "Letters" and is labeled "June 22, 1897 to July 31, 1897." The book contains 499 numbered pages and an index. Less than 5 percent of the book has been selected.
