This small ring-bound scrapbook, which covers the period April-July and December 1913, was used by Augustus M. Baldwin of the Edison Kinetophone Agency for clippings and other printed matter relating to public exhibitions of Edison's kinetophone in Manila, Hong Kong, and Pinang (Penang), Malaysia. An archivist's notation on the inside front cover indicates that the book was purchased from Baldwin's widow. There are some unsigned chemical notes on index tab "B"; otherwise, the index pages have not been used. The front cover is labeled "Edison Kinetophone" and "?"; the inside cover is inscribed "Property of A. M. Baldwin Edison Phonograph Agency." The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 30 pages have been used. Courtesy of Thomas Edison National Historical Park.
