This pocket notebook contains technical notes, drawings, tables, and graphs from 1888-1889. Most of the entries are by Wilson S. Howell; one is signed his brother John W. Howell. The selected items include a list of types and specifications of Edison dynamos; notes on dynamo installation and central station operation; and graphs of the cost of wiring according to feeder length. The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 40 pages have been used.
Approximately 50 percent of the book has been selected. The unselected material includes handwritten tables of technical data on copper wire and other conductors and pre-printed tables of 1887 lamp specifications. Courtesy of the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village Research Center.
