The selected documents are from three collections: (1) Jared Treman Newman Papers; (2) Robert Henry Thurston Papers; and (3) Andrew Dickson White Papers. Among the unselected items is a series of letters from the John Nolen Collection relating to landscaping and other improvements at Edison's winter home in Fort Myers, Florida, in 1927. The correspondents include landscape architect John Nolen; his associate Hale J. Walker; Mina Miller Edison; and Frank M. Stout, who represented the interests of Mina Edison.
