These documents, which cover the period January-August 1898, consist of letters from Jane Miller Marvin (1855-1898) to her sister Mina Miller Edison. In addition to information concerning members of the Miller family, the documents pertain to the exchange of gifts (including a pencil box and a lamp extinguisher) that were put to use at Glenmont, Edison's home in West Orange. One item mentions the employment of domestic staff at Glenmont. The last letter comments on the recent death of Theodore W. Miller in Cuba during the Spanish-American War.
