Included are several items from 1918 pertaining to Red Cross drives, Liberty Loan campaigns, and other wartime activities of the Chemical Works and other Edison interests. Also included are reports by John V. Miller, manager of the Chemical Works, concerning a new process for manufacturing nickel hydrate and by Charles Francis (Frank) Hunter, superintendent, regarding labor saving improvements.
