This notebook, which covers the period August 1888-October 1889, is a continuation of N-87-01-01. It was used by Jonas Walter Aylsworth to transcribe the results of experiments, nos. 831-1090, on wax compounds for phonograph cylinders. The rough records of these experiments can be found in N-88-01-02, N-88-11-13.3, and N-89-05-30.2. The front cover is marked "#565" and "United States Circuit Court District of New Jersey American Graphophone Co vs National Phonograph Co No. 10 March Term 1905 Defendant's Exhibit Aylsworth Note-book No. 565." The book contains 187 numbered pages. At least one page was removed before the book was paginated. Courtesy of Thomas Edison National Historical Park.
