[The following note describes a series of volumes and has no documents attached to it. For that reason, a "no Documents found" message will appear if the "List Documents" button at the bottom of the note is used. The ten dated notebooks in this set cover the period 1887-1899. There are also four undated books. The books were used by various experimenters, including Edison, William K. L. Dickson, Clarence B. Fargo, and H. M. Phillips. Several books also contain entries in the hand of Mina Miller Edison. The notes and drawings relate to phonographs, electric lighting and power, ore milling, and x-rays. Two books have not been selected. One contains routine lists of ore assays, and the other consists of rough sketches by an unidentified experimenter. Four books in this series carry archival "PN-numbers." However, they are too large to be pocket notebooks and could not be reproduced at the lower reduction ratio used for the Pocket Notebooks.
